So I come home from running errands yesterday and find out that the shelf of my bookcase that holds all my idol mags, photobooks, artbooks, etc. has collapsed under all the awesome. I’m not all that surprised about it seeing as I probably had about 10~20lbs too much stuff on it, but I just have to facepalm at the timing. I had been awake for 23 hours with only 1 hour of sleep during that time period. ughhhhhh. Everything’s stacked now though!

I really need to get another bookcase though. My OCD habits are kicking in and I just can’t have it organized like it is now for very long. shlksjglsjgklsd.

Anyway! Spoils from Kino from my past two visits (in two weeks…roflmao):

Orista! YAY! I mostly bought this for Arashi, but Miura Haruma is in it too. I’m actually not a huge fan of the Kimi ni Todoke manga (idk. I’ve only read one chapter, but it didn’t really make me interested in reading more…), but I’m totally hyping the movie! flumpool’s doing the theme! Hell yeah!

Buying this actually led to an…interesting conversation in the car.

Me: I didn’t leave with no Arashi though! I did get Orista~
Mom: Who’s Arashi?
Me: /finds picture. That’s Arashi.
Mom: Which one?
Me: …all of them?
Mom: Oh! I thought one of their names was Arashi.
Me: …WHAT.

OH, MOM. I’ve only been fangirling Arashi for like 6 years now. You’ve walked into the house while I was gleefully watching one of their concert DVDs in the living room and you don’t know who they are? Kino actually had a ton of Arashi singles/albums in (they had 6 copies of To be free…talk about tempting), but I held off for their new album. I have no idea, but I just don’t see the merit in spending $20 on a single anymore. I mean, if it’s really good that’s one thing. However, I won’t spend $20 on a single with no b-side when they have a new album coming out in 3 weeks.

I’m also ashamed of the fact that I love buying Orista for, if nothing else, the Secret of Arashi part. This issue had an interview with Nino about Ooku and GANTZ (along with CM talk, but WHO CARES ABOUT THAT? GANTZZZZZZ). Strictly speaking, more interested in GANTZ (although Ooku has Shibasaki Kou, Tamaki Hiroshi, and Okura in it too…WHY AM I NOT HYPED ABOUT THIS?). I’m giggling with fangirly glee in excitement for the movie even though I doubt it’ll be all “WTF” like the manga is. I want to know how far into the story the movie will actually go and what all they’ll change more than anything else. plz don’t try to make Kurono likeable. I like douchebag!Kurono. Although, if nothing else, Nino and Matsuken in leather suits! THIS PLOT IS RIVETING.

Oh my goodness! I finally got a new blog up. Mind you this was after about two months of, “I want to open a new blog, but I’m too lazy to~ ;w;/” whining out of me. And the first layout features 3/5ths of Arashi. I couldn’t fit all of them on here because I fail. HELL YEAH. HELL YEAH. HELL YEAH. THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKIN’ ‘BOUTTTT.

I kind of “left” the Arashi fandom for like a year and now, thanks to a friend, I’m fangirling them relentlessly like I did when I was 17. BITCH NEEDS TO GET OVER HERE AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS. Actually, thinking about it, it was actually kind of my fault! I was the one that was so excite over how good To be free is and she got hooked on it and wanted to know what other songs of their’s she’d like. So I started listening again…then I watched Time con…and then I was hooked. omg u gaiz. I love Arashi so much. ;o;/ I still hate WAVE as much as I did back in 2007. God, I hate that damn song…

Note that I say “kind of left” because I never really left in the true sense. Even though I wasn’t really paying attention to fandom, I was still updated enough to know when they were releasing stuff, when they were in dramas, etc.

In other idol news, Yamapi’s new solo is surprisingly catchy. I’m totally digging the autotune! It makes his voice sound listenable! Still not as classy as Jin, but I go where the catchy is. I fell out of the NEWS fandom when I dumped them to go back to my true love Arashi in 2007, but I still somewhat keep up with their releases. …Not that there’s much to keep up with. LOL.

Anyway, songs I’ve really been loving on lately:

Super Junior M – SUPER GIRL
Totally not a new song, but you know when you listen to a song you haven’t listened to in forever and it’s just so good? Yeah, that’s what this is. I love songs that go oontz, oontz, oontz. ;w;

MBLAQ – Y
The first time I heard this I was like, “OOF. BASS. ♥” and then it was on repeat for hours. Once again, digging that autotune. Also, OMNOMNOM SHOWER SCENES. I have no idea what they have to do with the song, but I approve! 8D

桜庭統 – Battle To Pay The Debt
Resonance of Fate/End of Eternity is one of my fav games ever (LOL ZEPHYR. Y SO MOODY?) and this is one of the best songs off the soundtrack. Such a shame it was only used in one battle. I love it so much. ;w;/

嵐 – To be free
YOU KNEW I WAS GOING TO MENTION IT. I love this song. I like it so much better than anything on Monster other than Spiral, but that might be my Aiba-bias talking. I am so excite for their new album. Words cannot describe~

Adam Lambert – If I Had You
YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG WITH THIS SONG. I’ve always loved this song, but I just recently got around to watching the video and that intensified the love. D; This is like the best song off of For Your Entertainment. A friend told me that Allison Iraheta was actually in this video, but I was too busy having a seizure from the awesome to notice…

OceanLab – Lonely Girl (Gareth Emery Remix)
This song is always “in” in my book. The only OceanLab song that can really beat it in my opinion is the original mix of Sky Falls Down (I love that song so much. /omnomnoms it).

And I just noticed that I’ve been looping One in a million for like an hour now. OH MY GOD. SOMEONE GET IT AWAY. D; I’m also lazy tagging this because I am soooo not adding tags for everything mentioned in this post. Goddamn.
